Brent is a Senior Associate of Douglas Partners and has 18 years' experience in contaminated land consulting.
He completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree graduating with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 1998, following which he worked for local council and multi-disciplinary consulting firms for approximately six years focusing on soil and groundwater contamination investigation and management.
Brent joined Douglas Partners in June 2004 and has been based in the Central Coast office since that time. He currently serves as Branch Manager and Senior Environmental Engineer with a team of experienced geo-environmental staff. Brent has developed an extensive knowledge of the Central Coast conditions through a multitude of geo-environmental investigations, including for land capability assessments, residential subdivisions, landfills, large industrial sites and retirement villages, multi-storey buildings, major infrastructure projects, regional scale sporting facilities, and long-term monitoring programmes.
Brent also has a wide experience in geo-environmental issues and regularly provides specialist advice to land owners, developers, consultants, councils and other authorities such as NSW EPA. Additionally, he undertakes groundwater investigations, acid sulfate soil assessments, ground gas investigations, waste classification assessments and assists with combined geotechnical and contamination assessment projects.
