James is an Associate Geotechnical Engineer based in Douglas Partners’ Central Coast office.
He has an in-depth knowledge of the geology across the eastern side of Australia having worked throughout the Central Coast, Sydney, Newcastle, and Hunter regions on a diverse range of civil engineering projects.
After completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Civil) from the University of Newcastle in 2011, his career has seen him involved in many major infrastructure projects across NSW, having worked on high profile projects such as the M1 Pacific Highway Upgrade, HW10 Pacific Highway Upgrade, M5 WestConnex and Melbourne to Brisbane Inland Rail, as well as many other small to medium sized projects.
James has extensive experience in the management, planning and programming of geotechnical investigations, soil/rock logging and in-situ field testing, scheduling/interpretation of laboratory testing, analysis and design, instrumentation monitoring and analysis, construction inspections and preparation of geotechnical reports and technical advice.
