David Metcalf is an Associate and Geotechnical Engineer with over ten years of service at Douglas Partners in the Macarthur and Wollongong Branches.
David has been heavily involved in a variety of geotechnical projects throughout the Sydney Basin and Illawarra regions, with a particular focus on subdivisional Geotechnics and pavements. His special interests include large scale earthworks and residential subdivisions, as well as arterial and local pavement designs and road upgrades.
He has worked with both private consultants and government authorities across many major projects to meet client requirements and time demands within the booming NSW housing and construction development markets. His main projects have concentrated on large scale subdivisions and geotechnical assessments, construction inspections and advice, stability assessments, TfNSW and local Council pavement designs, lot classifications, foundations and retaining walls designs.
He completed a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Civil) at the University of Wollongong and has been accredited by Engineers Australia as a Chartered Professional Engineer.
