Kate Fulham

Associate / Geotechnical Engineer

​Kate Fulham is an Associate of Douglas Partners with over 8 years’ experience in consulting geotechnical engineering. Kate completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) degree graduating with Honours from the University of Newcastle in 2012 and also completed a Masters Degree at the University of New South Wales in 2019, majoring in geotechnical engineering.

Kate joined Douglas Partners in 2012 and has worked in several locations in Australia including Newcastle, Wollongong and Townsville since that time.

Kate has extensive experience in all types of field work including borehole drilling, rock coring, pavement investigations, test pits, overwater investigations, installation of specialist geotechnical instrumentation and environmental sampling and monitoring.

Kate has been actively been involved in a broad range of geotechnical engineering projects including major highway upgrades, residential and commercial developments, coal mines, railway lines, dams and ports. Kate also has a wide experience with minor earthworks projects through inspections and providing specialist advice during civil works. Additionally, Kate undertakes acid sulfate soil assessments, and assists with combined geotechnical and contamination assessment projects and is fully accredited with RMS Slope Risk Assessments.
