Rob is a Senior Associate Environmental Scientist at Douglas Partners Brisbane.
Specialising in contaminated land assessment and remediation, his professional career as an environmental consultant, span across New South Wales, Queensland and California (USA).
Since 2006, he has been involved in a wide variety of projects including Stage 1 (preliminary) and Stage 2 (detailed) Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), the development and implementation of Remediation Action Plans (RAPs), project management of large-scale remedial and validation works and the writing of technical reports.
His areas of expertise include, contaminated site assessment, project management of remedial and validation works, petroleum distribution site assessment and remediation, development of cost-effective remedial strategies and preparation of RAPs, soil sampling and assessment, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and groundwater sampling using a variety of techniques, installation of soil vapour wells and soil vapour sampling using a variety of sampling methods, acid sulfate soil assessment and management, preparation of Environmental Management Plans and Construction Environmental Management Plans, site validation assessments and preparation of validation reports.
In 2004 he completed a Bachelor of Science (Geography) from the University of New South Wales.
