Dave is a Laboratory Manager and Associate of Douglas Partners with over 25 years’ experience in geotechnical testing.
Dave commenced employment with Douglas Partners in the Cairns office in 1997, transferring to the Newcastle office in 1998 as the Laboratory Manager. Dave has a Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques, Cert IV in Frontline Management and an Advanced Diploma of Laboratory Operations.
The Newcastle laboratory has a large scope of NATA accreditation for a wide range of field and laboratory testing for concrete, aggregates, soil and rocks. Dave has extensive experience in residential and industrial subdivisions in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and Hunter Valley areas including Cameron Grove, Appletree Grove, Bagnalls Beach, Fullerton Cove, Wirraway - Thornton and The Vintage. The Newcastle laboratory has undertaken primary quality control testing on several major RMS roadworks projects including Weakleys Drive Interchange, Newcastle Inner City Bypass and George Booth Drive Intersection. Other major infrastructure projects which Dave has had involvement with are the Kooragang Island Coal Terminal, Hunter River Remediation projects, Williamtown RAAF Base Upgrade and many rail shutdown projects throughout the Hunter Valley.
