Patrick is an Associate of Douglas Partners with over 15 years' experience in environmental engineering consulting. He commenced employment with Douglas Partners in November 2001 after completing a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with Honours at the University of Newcastle.
Patrick has worked in the Newcastle office since his appointment with Douglas Partners, and was appointed to the position of Associate in 2008. Patrick has experience in numerous contamination and geotechnical investigations in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Patrick has recently conducted investigation, remediation and validation works for large-scale residential subdivisions in West Wallsend, Booragul, Vacy and Thornton. Patrick has been involved in numerous education projects including investigation, remediation and validation of contamination at Hunter Sports High and numerous primary schools as part of the Building the Education Revolution. Patrick has also been heavily involved in major infrastructure projects such as the Gloucester to Tomago Gas project and the investigation and remediation of Newcastle Surplus Rail Lands. Patrick has conducted several investigations and remediation projects within lead-impacted lands in the Lake Macquarie Pasminco fallout area. His broad range of experience also includes smaller scale investigations for contamination, waste classification and effluent disposal assessment in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley regions.
