Toby is a Senior Associate and Geotechnical Engineer based in the Newcastle office, with more than a decade of experience in geotechnical engineering at Douglas Partners.
Toby joined Douglas Partners in 2009 with an environmental engineering degree, and a keen interest in geotechnical engineering. Toby has since gained a Masters of Engineering Science in geotechnical engineering, and is a Chartered Professional Engineer.
He has been actively involved in a broad range of geotechnical engineering projects, including management of a number of major Transport for NSW highway upgrade projects, as well as investigations for large industrial and residential developments, mine subsidence investigation and remediation projects, dams, slope stability assessments, and specialised overwater investigations.
Toby is an important part of the Newcastle Geotechnical Group, offering training and mentorship to all levels of staff.
