Alex is an Associate Environmental Scientist based in Douglas Partners’ Melbourne office.
Specialising in contaminated land and hazardous materials assessments, Alex is considerably experienced in site history investigations, soil, surface and groundwater, vapour and landfill gas assessments. His areas of special interest include Bioavailability and generating site specific assessment criteria.
Alex has acted as an Auditor's Assistant, undertaking site visits, verification sampling, and assisting review of assessor reports. He has also been involved in fieldwork for numerous geotechnical investigations, including car park and pavement investigations, footing inspections, high-rise developments, and basement excavations.
Alex joined Douglas Partners as a Graduate Engineer in 2011 after completing a double degree in Environmental Science and Social Science (Environment) at RMIT. He was then appointed Project Manager in 2016 and then an Associate in 2021.
