David is an Environmental Engineer with more than 8 years of consulting experience in the investigation, assessment and remediation of contaminated sites.
Since joining Douglas Partners, David has been actively involved in numerous projects within the Sydney region as well as some projects at NSW and ACT regional centres. David has provided advice for various land uses including schools, shopping centres, residential subdivisions, high-rise apartments, universities, service stations, childcare centres, commercial offices, hotels, electrical sub-stations, rail, warehouses, cemeteries, recycling facilities and recreation. In addition to working in contaminated land management, David has gained experience in the investigation, assessment and management of acid sulfate soils.
David has reported on preliminary site investigations (Desktop Investigations) for contamination; detailed site investigations (Phase 2 Investigations) for contamination; remediation action plans; validation of remediation; validation of underground storage tank removal works; environmental management plans; reviews of reports prepared by other environmental consultants; detailed assessments of asbestos contamination in soil; groundwater monitoring events; acid sulfate soil assessments; acid sulfate soil management plans; waste classification assessments; excavated natural material (ENM) assessments; recovered aggregate assessments; and virgin excavated natural material (VENM) assessments.
