Sally is a Senior Associate of Douglas Partners Pty Ltd with over 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering consulting. She started work with Douglas Partners in March 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and Bachelor of Arts at the University of New South Wales.
Sally has been responsible for the planning and management of a wide range of geotechnical projects including the Sydney Opera House, Port Botany Expansion, Warringah Mall in Brookvale and the Building the Education Revolution program. Her work has included project management, investigation, analysis, design work, construction monitoring, inspections and advice. Features of past projects include deep and/or sensitive excavations, retaining walls, deep and shallow foundations, anchors, slope stability, thermal resistivity and acid sulphate soils. Her work has included a range of site and clients, including major infrastructure, sensitive sites and residential, commercial and industrial developments.
Sally is a member of Engineers Australia and the Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) and served as an committee member for the Sydney Branch of AGS between 2006 and 2014, including terms as Secretary and Treasurer.
