Paul is a Principal of Douglas Partners with over 25 years experience in contaminated land and geotechnical engineering consulting. He commenced employment with DP in 2008 after similar positions in other consultancies in Sydney and Hong Kong. Paul completed a Bachelor of Engineering Degree with Honours at the University of Sydney.
Paul has worked in the Sydney office since 2008, managing the Environmental Group since 2012. Paul has had significant roles in the management, undertaking and reporting on contaminated land investigations for multi-storey developments in Sydney CBD, Pagewood, Bondi Junction, Homebush, Parramatta, Penrith, Balmain and many others. He has worked on hospital projects in Hornsby, Nepean, Westmead, Bankstown and Blacktown. Paul has also worked on a number of infrastructure projects including the north-west rail link, the M2 Motorway, and major roads in Schofields, Marsden Park, Bringelly, and Homebush.
His broad range of experience also includes smaller scale investigations on residential, schools, aged care, child care and light industrial sites. Paul has also managed and reported on a large number of remediation action plans, environmental management, validation reports, underground storage tank removals, asbestos management and groundwater remediation.
